Sledding/Dentist

Even though it is now Spring, we are still trying to reach 30 degrees, so when it was 20 and snowing today, we just had to go outside and sled.

Shira & Asher with rosey cheeks from sledding.

Shira went down the hill all by herself!

Asher grinning with a crooked hat.

Shira went to the dentist for the first time this week. She was VERY brave! Here she is after the floride treatment sucking out all the saliva. They had her wear those cool glasses to help shade her from the bright lights. They even gave her a tickle test and it came up positive!

Brayton Chapel

Early Thursday morning the Brayton South Stake Anchorage, Alaska chapel caught fire. They believe it started above the overflow area in the roof, making it hard to get to. These pictures were taken after fire fighters worked on it for 12 hours. This is the chapel David grew up in and the one his parents still attend. It's a huge loss, but they will rebuild. The very next day, the temple, which shares the parking lot with this chapel, flooded. I believe it was mostly flooded in the lower level of the temple, but now it will be closed for at least a week.

Mexico Trip

In January we all went to Utah & Idaho to visit friends & family. The best part of the trip, other than seeing family, was leaving the kids with Auntie Leah & Uncle Troy (Thanks again!) while David and I went on a cruise to Mexico. Here are some photos from our cruise. We stopped in Acapulco, Ixtapa, Puerto Vallarta, and Cabo San Lucas. It was so much fun! And it was great to get out of the cold.
Here is David enjoying his guitar on the deck.
Cabo San Lucas
Here we are enjoying the sunset!
David got to experience some parasailing.
You can see the ship in the background...if you squint.

Here we are leaving Cabo San Lucas.

Trip to Utah/Idaho

My parents just built a home in Lava Hotsprings, Idaho, so we were able to visit them for a few days. It is great to have them back in the USA. (They have been in Europe for 7 years) We had a late Christmas with the whole family, my brother came up with his fam (And Jodeeee!) and it was just fun to see everyone and let the cousins get reaquainted.
