Steelhead Fishing on the Situk River

David gets to go and work in Yakutat every year right around steelhead fishing season....yes, it's planned that way. This year he was there for two weeks and stayed the weekend to do some extra fishing. He went with two good work buddies and they all had a great & successful time fly fishing. David got to test out his new four piece fly rod he purchased recently, one of the greatest purchases of his life. They had a great time and the pictures to prove it are below.

Mark & Travis, his buddies from work.

Grandma Kay & Bohdan

Grandma Kay stopped by on a Sunday morning and we took these cute pictures of her and Bohdan.
I think he's actually trying to grab her chest in this shot....look close.
And thus the grin on his face. :-)

Shira's Cute Haircut

Our sweet friend Melanie offered to cut Shira's hair before she moved to Oregon, (we mis you guys!) and it turned out so cute.

No Training Wheels!!!

Just a month before Asher's fourth birthday my neighbor pointed out that Asher wasn't really using his training wheels, because they were so warped they were turned up. So, daddy took them off and he was riding like a pro. Here are the shots to prove it. He was so proud of himself.

Kids in April

Asher hardly ever gets a chance to hold and feed Bohdan, simply out of fear for Bohdan's life, so when Asher did get to feed him, he was super excited. Notice the bottle isn't even in Bohdan's mouth. :-)
This is what happens when parents leave the room.
But Bohdan doesn't seem to mind.
Shira took this shot of Bohdan smiling. She was so proud of herself. My SIL offered to stay with Bohdan and Asher while I picked up Shira from school. Jenni's little girl, Brenna, is 3 weeks older than Bohdan. This is what I found when I got back. Both babies were zonked.
You could totally handle twins, Jenni!
